Located in the Katzin region of northern Israel, this 400-hectare estate, founded in 1983, produces 280,000 cases a year under the Yarden, Gamla and Golan labels.
The vineyards are planted on hillsides at altitudes between 400 metres and 1,200 metres above sea level. The estate includes 14 different vineyards of which are located on the Golan Heights and 3 on the Upper Galilee. Summers are hot but benefit from the moderating influence of altitude and winds that come from Hernon Mountain. Winters are harsh with snow. The composition of the soil is mainly volcanic and the vines are cut mainly in double cord.
