A round and gourmet wine with a superb balance.
Her dress is dense, deep, ruby. Opaque in its concentration.
Its nose reveals notes of black fruit, violet, gooseberry, rhubarb, some roasted notes and musk. A beautiful maturity and a freshness at the same time.
In the mouth the attack is supple and fruity. The tannins are present, proof of a beautiful maturity. A very wide range of aromas ensues: from ripe fruit to liquorice, a real feeling of "crunch" in the mouth is revealed. The finish is long, on spices...
The history of the estate is like its wines: singular. In 1926, Don Angelo Cetto, an Italian immigrant, settled in the Guadalupe Valley in Baja California and acquired three vineyards: Rancho Grande, Chico and Alfada.
He devotes himself with great care to the cultivation of grapes.
A few years later, he obtained another vineyard: Escondido, located 30 km from Tijuana. The estate now covers more than 600 hectares. With a European tradition combining art and technology, its products quickly stand out. The originality of this site is a big part of it: the Sun of Baja California is tempered by the sea breezes of the Pacific that help keep the nights cool, allowing the cultivation of quality grapes. L.A CETTO wines also owe a great deal to their winemaker, Camilio Magoni, who graduated in Italy. Today, the L.A CETTO family is strengthening its avant-garde position in Mexican winemaking.
