A subtle blend of Syrah 40%, Grenache Noir 30% and Carignan 30%.
This Cuvée Ivresse des Sens is aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
It is well balanced, both structured and very fruity.The nose is elegant and intense, dominated by ripe red fruit, wax, acacia and a hint of liquorice. A fine attack on the palate, followed by a present but melted tannin, suggests a good ageing potential.
