This wine is composed of an Assembly of Tannat, Syrah and Viognier. It comes from the latest generation of vineyards Pisano. These vineyards allow the wine to have a large concentration of tannins and delicate aromas. The wine is aged in french barrels for approximately 6 months.
Los Pajaros Rio presents a beautiful black purple dress. First, you will be seduced by its pleasant aromas of plums and violets sublimated by notes of licorice, cinnamon and pepper. In the mouth of pleasant Blueberry and black cherry flavors prevail. The finish is long and perfectly balanced tannins.
This Uruguayan wine will perfectly accompany your pasta dishes, risottos and mushrooms.
The field of Pisano is located about 25 Km North of Montevideo, close to River plate. Pisano family is installed in Uruguay since the beginning of the twentieth century and produced wine since 1924. The 15 ha of vineyards in the area grow on a ground limestone clay, with intense sunlight and cool winds from the Atlantic. Yields per hectare are low and the harvest is manual. After 6 months, the wines are placed on the market. Eduardo Pisano believes in natural and traditional winemaking methods, with a minimum of disruption for its wines. This philosophy today made this area one of the most prestigious of the Uruguay.
