This wine is made from different parcels, but they are generally of very old vines which give rise to the Flor de Pingus. This wine, incredible sweetness, is the cult of the field since 1995 wine. Her dress is almost opaque, with a Ruby color reminding the velvet. His magnificent nose develop smoky notes, ripe fruit, cherry liquor and coffee black with light touches of leather. The mouth unfolds with elegance and finesse on flavors of black fruit and vanilla cream. Balance and richness of this wine are obtained thanks to the talent of the winemaker of this area, Peter Sisseck who had the idea of creating surprising wines and high quality such as the Pingus and Flor de Pingus.
Peter Sisseck is the rising star of the new generation of Spanish winemakers with Alvaro Palacios. Peter settled in Spain in 1990 to vinify area of Hacienda Monasterio. It is with Pingus Peter exploded onto the international scene. This wine has become legendary in a few years: it is one of the most sought-after wines both for its quality and rarity. It is a wine of 4 parcels of vines and the entire production is approximately 25 barrels (half for the 1999 vintage) but only 7-8 will enter into the composition of the Domino of Pingus, the rest being sold under the name of Flor of Pingus.
