We're eating the fruit, a treat! Pale dress, with a light grey hue. Aromas of tropical fruits and citrus fruits with a hint of mineral touches. The palate is rich in textures and strong flavours of tropical fruits and ripe grapes. The finish is clear and fresh.
MOMO, which means offspring in Maori, is a wine from the Seresin estate in Marlborough.
Reflecting this heritage, MOMO wine is made from mature grapes that have grown organically in a dedicated vineyard and respects the uses of traditional winemaking.
MOMO Sauvignon Blanc is made from fruit from vineyards on the plains of the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. The Sauvignon was picked between 27 April, late at night and early in the morning to make sure the fruit was fresh when it reached the vineyard. After fermentation at low temperature to retain the whole character of the fruit, the wine was left in the dregs to give it a better depth to the palate and greater complexity.
Food and wine pairings: Delicious with all types of seafood and summer salads. This wine makes an excellent refreshing aperitif.
In the Wairau Valley, New Zealand, near the beautiful Malborough Fjords, is the Estate of Seresin Estate, owned by Michael Seresin. A cinematographer by profession, Michael developed a passion for wine production during his many stays in Italy and France.
Respect and care for the land are the intrinsic values of biodynamic cultivation, advocated by Seresin. Using natural winemaking methods with minimal intervention, this domain offers us personalized wines, combining with wonder, character and complexity.
