Discover Eric Bordelet's "high fashion" cider cuvée. With aromas of apples, lemonand and spices, this cider is more winey and more powerful than previous vintages. The mouth is lively and elegant, with a bubble all finesse. With a nice balance and a great length, this vintage will become more complex with a few years of care.
"Argelette", the name for shale pebbles, is a complex cuvée composed of the maximum varieties. It comes from the old apple trees more than 100 years old. The fruits are assembled in the same way each year (40%bitter, 40%sweet, 20%tangy) with the aim of respecting the vintage. This cider, derived from an ancestral maceration technique, offers about 30g/l of residual sugar.
Eric Bordelet's estate is located in southern Normandy, on the Armoricain massif in the extension of the Domfrontais at the borders of the Mayenne and the Orne.
The farm is located on the Upper Brioverien shale, sedimentary rocks dating back to the Precambrian period; they are rocks formed before the primary era, 3 billion years old. These are normally fairly soft rocks, giving rise to silty or limono-clay soils.
