The Piedmont Spinetta

The Spinetta was founded in 1977 by Giorgio Bruno and Giaco-mo, to join the operation, they inject a new life and modern ideas. They engage among others in the development of a quality Asti Moscato, who takes quickly an excellent reputation with prestigious restaurants and connoisseurs. They offer wines in the great appellations of the Piedmont as Barbera d'Asti, Barbaresco and, from 2000, Barolo. Three Rivetti brothers share the same philosophy, the quest for the best possible quality, without compromise. Even if it means going against the (still very present in Piedmont) conservative ideas or to drastically reduce yields. Their labels are as surprising as their wines. The Rhino (Barbaresco and Barbera) and the lion (Barolo) are actually works of art of Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), German artist, recognized as the largest of the German Renaissance.
