La Côte
La Côte is a parcel that perfectly reflects the Kimmeridgian marl that makes up its subsoil. The terroir is identical to that of the famous Grande Côte. A great, racy, vibrant wine that will defy time. Pure and tasty, it will reveal its spicy and smoky notes after about ten years. A jewel to be appreciated by lovers of great, pure and explosive whites.
Gérard Boulay now farms 9.5 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc in Chavignol and 2 hectares of Pinot Noir. The viticulture carried out is particularly demanding and close to everything that can benefit the plant, the vines are run on the organic farming type without claiming any certification. The vinification process is not very interventionist in order to give free rein to the terroir.
