an elixir, u don't marvel!
The 1999 vintage allowed very healthy harvest and the development of noble rot was rare, except in the Clos Jebsal. On the nose and mouth, harmony dominates. The aromas are already well present and typical fruit walls/quinces associated a minerality of the terroir. In order to avoid the cumbersome, sorting was made by keeping a part of healthy grapes, this gives a mouth with finesse and a lot of fruit in the final. The acidity is very present, as in the late harvest, and naturally prevented this wine to climb to a high alcohol level (. 5%) to keep a major liquor.
