an elixir, youdo pure wonder!
The 1999 vintage allowed for very healthy harvests and the development of noble rot was rare, except in the Clos Jebsal. On the nose as in the mouth, harmony dominates. The aromas are already present and typical fruit walls / quinces associated with a minerality of the terroir. In order to avoid heaviness, the sorting was done by keeping a part of healthy grapes, this gives a mouth full of finesse and a lot of fruit in the finish. The acidity is very present, as in the Late Harvest, and naturally prevented this wine from rising to a high alcohol level (.5%only) to keep an important liqueur.
