The masterpiece of Stéphane Tissot. This Clos of the Christopher Tower is a wine concentrated, right, fresh, elegant, with dry fruit, white flowers and a long finish that evokes the great Burgundy.
"The ending of the Christopher Tower combines intense tight, saline, and strong acidic shading; still closed, it is intended for the long guard." 17/20 RVF Guide 2019
It may grow even further up to 25 years in the cellar.
This Clos of the Christopher Tower is one of the jewels of the field Tissot, the kind of wine always very well received by critics. The 75 acres of chardonnay, planted in 2002, are girded a closed and styled a tower, with a floor of limestone scree slope and terraces facing South.
With only 1 650 bottles produced year on average, yields are low, guarantees a rich and dense wine. After hand picking, the vinification takes place in barrels of 228 new litres to the third party, before an ageing of 24 months.
