Who has dreamed of a wine precious but simple, a unique wine that would lend itself to any occasion, large or small, in any season? A wine with a flavor so original and so subtle that she wish all Palace?
This wine is! A preserved vineyard and an ancient method of vinification, sparkling bubbles miles light and full of spontaneity, it's the pink wine of Cerdon.

As an aperitif or dessert this beautiful Cerdon slightly sweet mousse fine and light, aromas of the wood strawberry, Apple and pear, reveals a mouth fresh, delicious and crunchy.

Its soil, through black Gamay and Poulsard grapes, fully expresses itself through a unique production process: the ancestral method.

Cerdon ancestral method:

. A low alcoholic degree (about 8 °)
. A very flattering pink
. A thin and light foam.
. A very strong aromas of the grapes with a cast of red fruits.
. A semi-dry character resulting a harmonious balance of acids and the residual sugar (natural sugars of grapes).

The field:

Raphaël Bartucci is a true self-taught wine. His parents fled the Calabria at the end of the 1950s to settle in Moselle. During major holidays, Raphaël Bartucci was regularly in the Bugey. A few years later, in 1981, after studies of instruments, but above all with the desire to be a farmer, he bought a house in ruins at Merignat. Her current home, her village since.

He decides to plant a few acres of vineyards for his personal consumption. Wine, he imagined as a noble product, fruit of nature and not from the industry. He is not satisfied that she told on the way to. So he asks, looking for and through friends, meets Pierre Overnoy and Marcel Lapierre then confirming him well we can work differently. Her first winemaking dates from 1983 and since then, he plants a few ares regularly to achieve today in 20, 2.50 ha on plots maintained as of the gardens.

Working day, he takes care of his vines on weekends and evenings until the dark of the night. Quickly he was known in France, from abroad, to Japan, by his tenacity and the sincerity of its wines.
In 1992, he devoted himself entirely to the production of wines of Cerdon and became full-time winemaker. In 1997, he is certified AB by Ecocert.

Ploughing, stripping, small performance (around), Raphaël Bartucci does not extend. Its 2.50 ha is enough today. With 2 employees and 20 of pickers for a week. It produces about 16000 bottles per year.
