This great vintage was high during most of 2 years in old barrels of Romanée Conti, which explains in part its level. Its texture is luscious, crunchy sweetness with tannins fine and precise. A good concentration and a remarkable freshness make this wine a quite remarkable value.

The Montcalmes field is one of the areas most prominent Languedoc. Since its first vintage in 1999, Frédéric Pourtalié has managed to hoist her field among the best.
