The Domaine de Montcalmer is one of the most in-sight areas of Languedoc. Since his first vintage in 1999, Frédéric Pourtalié has managed to hoist his estate among the best. Compared to the most talented winegrowers in his region, this demanding winegrower has made his classes in the fields of the Grange des fathers, Alain Graillot and the oratory Saint Martin. Located in Aniane and Puéchabon, the vineyard of Domaine de Montcalmer is established on a limestone terroir where Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, roussane, Marsanne and Chardonnay flourish.
