Marc Colin was born in 1944 and created his field at the end of the 1970s; with his wife Michele, they return from vines of several generations, Colin and Ponavoy families, some plots are owned by the family for more than a century.
Today, Caroline and Joseph Damien, three of their children, lead the field Marc Colin who covers 19 hectares and includes 26 names on the villages of SAINT-AUBIN, PULIGNY-MONTRACHET and CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, SANTENAY.
Joseph led a part of the vineyard in reasoned culture and the other part in experimentation of biological culture. Regular soil work allows us to avoid chemical weeding, and get a quality grapes.
The white wines are raised by Joseph in a search for purity, elegance and length.
