Ce Chardonnay La Reine est un vin au profil tranchant et salin mais avec aussi un côté onctueux, dans un style puissant et doté d'une grande fraîcheur et d'une grande persistance aromatique. Grand vin. Chardonnay de sélections massales plantées en 1946 et 1962.
Terroir : argile de décalcification (rouge et ocre), silice, sur socle calcaire du Bathonien. Ce Chardonnay provient d'une sélection massale de 15 ares seulement plantée entre 1900 et 1920 sur un coteau exposé au Nord-Ouest d'altitude 260 m.
Vinification et élevage : élevage et ouillage 24 mois en fût.
Accords mets/vin : à l'apéritif, carpaccio de Saint-Jacques, caviar.
