Details

A wine complex, harmonious, with a very expressive aromatic character...

Note: 94 / 0 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The Prestige 2016 Rasteau is from 30 to 50 years old vines. Assembly to 85%Grenache, Syrah and 5%Mourvèdre, it reveals aromas of ripe black fruit and crushed stone. Full-bodied and richly concentrated, it reveals notes of cocoa and scrubland on a long finish.

This supported the field the Soumade of a Ruby-red wine has bright highlights pulling on the purple. Sweet aromas of fruit compotes: cherry, BlackBerry, prune, fig and wild raspberry, on bottom of licorice, form a complex, concentrated and enjoyable nose. The mouth confirms the maturity of the grapes, with the roundness and the bold from the start in the mouth. The scale grows, highlighting the fine and suave material tannic, coated notes of cherry, plum and Fig. The finish is long, powerful and generous spicy.
