A greedy and subtle Morgon! A 0%Gamay raised in vat, with a pretty garnet dress. The nose is full of fruit, cherries and violets. The mouth is round and greedy in a very nice balance. A fresh, fruity, very pleasant wine that charms us with its wingspan.
Jean Foillard is one of those winemakers who made the reputation of the Grands Beaujolais. This member of the "Band à Marcel" (Lapierre) mainly produces Morgon wines on 8 hectares. He of course practises organic viticulture and vinifies his wines in traditional Carbon maceration of Beaujolais.
Little or no filtration and a minimum of sulfur, the result: sincere wines made by an endearing character, humble and full of talent.
