"Haute Couture" of the estate cuvée of the oldest vines.

This generous, concentrated, rich and dense Morgon perfectly expresses this great terroir in this great vintage.
These aromas of black fruit, with these kirschees shades are very characteristic.

100%Gamay black Assembly

Retro manual with carbonic maceration and then ageing in oak barrels (not wood), not SO2 and over a period of 6 to 9 months.
Terroir: Granitic schist in decomposition and manganese, area to the South of the appellation.
Bottled without filtration, this cuvée may be slightly sulphite to the racking.

The field:

Jean Foillard is part of the winemakers who have made the reputation of the great Beaujolais.
This member of the "band to Marcel" (Lapierre) produces mainly of Morgon wines on 8 hectares.
He of course practice organic viticulture and vinifies its traditional carbonic maceration of the Beaujolais wine.
Little or no filtration and a minimum of sulphur, the result: sincere wine made by a character full of talent and humble and endearing.
