The "Clos de Breuil": a sure value!
A sustained and light notes of truffles, dress of stone fruits and citrus and a hint of minerality.
Food / wine : aperitif but also with fish grilled without forgetting the famous goat cheese...
The undisputed star of Montlouis!
After viticulture-oenology studies and several years of experience alongside his parents, Francis Chidaine, in 1989, took the family estate. The vineyard at Montlouis, in the Loire Valley, is grown biodynamic since 1999.
The soil consists of clays and coarse elements of flint constituting "the parakeets", the basement is made of tufa chalk, soft limestone rock.
François Chidaine has been the locomotive of the appellation, until then little media, Montlouis. He is looking for new features optimize the Chenin grape. The vintages are a remarkable complexity, where elegance and balance are aligned.
