Food and freshness for this Pic Saint-Loup with superb value for money.
This cuvée exists on the three colors red, white and rosé. It comes from plots at the bottom of the slope for red grape varieties and plots located at the bottom of the valley for whites. In both cases, we will have less intermediate exposures than the mid-Côtes plots. The maturity on the whole is later than those encountered for the Domaine de l'Hortus cuvée. For red and rosé, the soils formed on scree of limestone shards are shallower, closer to the parent rock. In fact, the vines are more susceptible to summer drought. The maturity obtained leads to a fine cellar work: macerations and relatively short breeding.
Terroir: low-lying plots of the Coast. Brown soils formed on scree of Cretaceous limestone shards. Slopes ranging from 30%and altitudes ranging from 150 to 200 meters.

Yield: 30 to 45 hl/ha for plots with densities ranging from 4000 to 7150 hectares.
Vinification: scuffled and trodden harvests. Period of cooking from 30 days depending on the varietals and the ripeness encountered.
Breeding: months of breeding in vats for grenache and syrah. Mourvèdre is grown in barrels of 2 wines.
