Details

This black and opaque wine has an intense bouquet of black fruits, smoke and chocolate and other spices. Dense and smooth in the mouth, wild but friendly, there want to live to the full the tannins that tickle the palate, before resting at the bottom of the glass among the scents of cinnamon, vanilla and black fruit.

In good conditions of conservation (/ 15 ° C and humidity > 70%) we guarantee the quality of this wine for the next few years.

Terroir: The Cedar vineyard covers the hillsides of "Daughter-in-law". Terroir consists of the best two types of soil of the appellation: 50%of cones of limestone scree called "Tran" and 50%of high terraces of the Mindel, argilo-silicieuse, well ressuyees, rich in pebbles.

Weather conditions: the 2009 vintage has been very lenient with the vine. After a hot and dry summer, the harvest took place under a dazzling sun, allowing a mature and healthy crop.

Vinification: Harvest sorting, Destemming and crushing. The vatting lasts between 30 and 35 days with punching at the beginning of the alcoholic fermentation, while winemaking temperature does not exceed 28 ° Celsius. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels.
