The oldest producer Homestead of Armagnac
The Château de Lacquy is, since 17, property of the same family. This exceptional estate, located in the land of Gascogne, in the heart of the "golden triangle" called the great bottom Armagnac, is dedicated since the seventeenth century to this very fine, complex, long in the mouth, very fragrant brandy called Armagnac. The Château de Lacquy is, in fact, one of the oldest producers in France of the appellation.
A natural ecological balance of exception
This area of 400 hectares in which arises down - the castle of Lacquy Armagnac, is a true ecological composed of multiple species, lakes and areas wet forests. The fauna is also very diverse, there are many protected endangered species. In the hollow of this protected natural balance, 20 hectares of vines flourish on a light soil composed of sands of ochre (the famous "tawny Sands") of oxide of iron and sediments of marine origin.
An ancestral know-how
Crazy white, Baco, Colombard, Ugni-blanc, centuries-old grapes of this terroir french, unique in the world, produce a legend Armagnac. The vineyards are worked traditionally by hand, in a demanding and patient manner and this know-how, passed down from generation to generation, today offers one of the best vintages of Armagnac. It is sometimes called "brandy" out of France but this precious, from this special Earth nectar, has no equivalent anywhere else.
