The property is known under this name or that of "Herencia Remondo". Palacios Remondo family has a past wine dating back to 1651 but it's José Palacios Remondo who prepared his children (current leaders) to drive the property, one is oenologist from Bordeaux, and has planted the best selections of vineyards of grapes traditional Rioja.

The field of 0 ha, is located to the East of Rioja at an altitude of about 550 m, and benefits from climate conditions particularly favourable to the qualitative development of Grenache in particular (40%of the plantings). The Tempranillo occupies 45%of the vineyards. Despite modern fitted to the field, the focus is on the human factor, decisive, maintenance of the vines to the crucial choice of the moment of perfect maturity of the grapes or for winemaking. Each of the wines produced by the field has its own personality.
Of Spanish origin, carignan owes its name to the city of ENA, in the province of Zaragoza, whose former name was Caranyena. For many decades, carignan was the grape most planted in France.Il product true to its soil, rich in tannins, powerful, full-bodied wine that gets better with age. Young, the wines are dominated by aromas of red fruit and spices. As they get older, they develop other notes: ripe fruits (especially prunes), toasted bread, grilled almond leather.
