The domain Alain Graillot is located in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation area, in the village of bridge of the Isere River a few kilometers south of Tain l'Hermitage. Winemaking and breeding facilities are surrounded by vineyards, at a place called Green Oaks.
The soils consist of alluvium of the Rhone and Isere with sands, very little land and lots of round pebbles that make them very filtering. The vineyards of the area Alain Graillot account 20 hectares of vineyards, divided into 2.7 hectares planted in white (80 %Roussanne and Marsanne) of relatively young vines (25 years) and 17.3 hectares in red completely in Syrah, ranging from 15 to 60 years. Cultivation methods of the field Alain Graillot are traditional but of low yields, short pruning and manure light-oriented.
